The Nine Months Project was created as part of the Design Advocacy class at Pratt Institute in 2010. Several projects were created in collaboration with UN to promote maternal health in areas where maternal mortality rate was high. Color coded material was created for the 3 trimesters. Simple messages combined with strong visuals made it easy for translation in the local languages. The proposal included combining these simple printed messages with free supplements or even easy home birth kits.
